Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, production ready code that can be used by millions of users of our cloud platform.
Make design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.
Share your knowledge and to help transform an organization from within by working with and coaching your team members.
Work in a Engineering model and eagerness to contribute in all phases of SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation and testing of the stories.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, LWC, Managed Package and SFDX
• Experienced in modern web technologies and web application development
  • Experienced with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like React
  • Experience with modern web app development frameworks,
• Excellent object-oriented design skills and SOLID principle anchored by experience applying design patterns
• Experience building Rest APIs in an enterprise software environment
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. postgres) and the design of data models
• Experience with automated test frameworks
• A commitment to quality, stability and performance
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and deliver high-quality code in a dynamic team environment
• Ability to quickly respond to the changing business needs and roll out functionality in small increments rather than a big bang approach
• Ability to communicate well in English, present ideas and solutions, and coherently discuss complex topics with the team and broader technical audience.
• Ownership of the whole software development lifecycle, including:
  • Service ownership
  • Familiarity with CI/CD approaches,
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting software in production

Appreciated:

• A willingness to be versatile and flexible in working across our stack
• Experience working in modern cloud ecosystems, such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with infrastructure, DevOps, SRE
• Experience working on a distributed team
• Familiarity with agile or scrum methodologies
• 2+ years of experience with Architecture Design
• Leadership experience and the desire / skills to lead / teach feature development across a team
• Experience with Heroku
