Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering AMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master Salesforce’s development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features Salesforce’s customers will love, adopt and use while keeping Salesforce’s trusted platform stable and scalable. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Maintain and extend the microservices dedicated to provide through the Salesforce Edge Network a range of services including TLS termination, static caching, and TCP optimizations. Adopt agile software development practices and attend daily scrums and triweekly plannings with the team to discuss progress on existing tasks and add new tasks. Routinely deploy new features on a monorepo using the Continuous Integration (CI) strategy by employing Git, Jenkins, Docker, Bazel, and Kubernetes. Process customer feedback and bug reports, provide product support as needed, and respond to any incidents and outages. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Internet Protocols; (2) CDNs; (3) DNS;  (4) TCP/IP; (4) Java; (5) Python; (6) Computer Security; (7) Docker; (8) Junit; and (9) HTML. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. 

Salary: $132,870.00 - $149,600.00 per annum.
