Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering, SMTS in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Develop application code through the use of established methods that meet acceptance criteria. Review and collaborate with Architects on designs. Develop technical designs with any necessary automation strategies. Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Analyst to clarify functionality in stories. Collaborate with SMEs as necessary to obtain guidance for development. Develop stories, data mappings, test cases, and success criteria which inform development. Understand and build/deploy code through approved channels. Test application code through the use of established methods, these tests should all be automated and include unit tests, integrations tests, functional tests, acceptance tests, performance tests, and smoke tests. Responsible for the iteration goals. Adhere to secure coding practices, internal standards set forth by Business Technology group. Apply principles of accessibility for all product releases. Attend and understand the functions of the various iteration ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning, grooming and retrospectives. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Salesforce application development; (2) CRM and platform maintenance; (3) Triggers; (4) Apex Code; (5) Visualforce Pages; (6) Design patterns; (7) Release management; (8) Agile or Scrum; (9) Data Loader or Workbench; (10) Web Services, SOQL, and SOSL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted.
