Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Create intuitive and powerful analytics software that enable thousands of leading organizations and millions of people around the world to find insights in their data. Design and develop tools that will highlight key insights to help administrators uncover and investigate issues within their Tableau deployment. Build full stack solutions that incorporate everything from database design and query optimizations to end-user facing web experiences sing a .NET code base. Build diagnostics and monitor features that provide insights to customers on how to solve detected issues. Working with other internal teams to evangelize and incorporate new alerts and possible categories of issues for detection and remediation. Develop products that scale to meet the largest level of deployments our customers are running. Evaluate existing processes & tools and recommend\implement changes to improve efficiency. Maintain and leverage testing frameworks and QA best practices into the release pipelines. Adopt and implement industry best practices around performance and resource monitoring. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) SQL; (2) MySQL; (3) Linux; (4) JavaScript; (5) Bootstrap; (6) JQuery; (7) C#; (8) SOAP; (9) Java; and (10) REST. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience, and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s degree.

Salary: $183,310.00 - $220,000.00 per annum.
