Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Member of Technical Staff in Burlington, MA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Mentor the team to migrate the Credstash-based DynamoDB secrets to AWS-based Secrets Manager. Provide input to the engineers on the use SFCC Cloud Native Platform (CNP)’s Secret Operator. Provide knowledge transfer sessions to the engineers/peers and provide technical solutions to the team. Install time-sensitive patches on the live AWS cluster. Fix security vulnerabilities, i.e. Updating AMIs using Terraform. Upgrade Kubernetes (EKS) cluster and their plugins (CNI, CoreDNS). Oversee the load balancers and routing traffic. Oversee Kubernetes Helm deployments. Monitor the cluster health on Datadog. Overhaul the sync mechanism with the Metadata API and the ODS API. Provide technical trainings to the US engineers for the design architecture. Oversee new integrations with AWS Trusted Advisor. Administrate the infrastructure and patching updates to security vulnerabilities. Monitor the services on Datadog (SaaS-based data analytics platform). Mentor US teammates. Collaborate with the SFCC services (US based). Engineer new features and bugs. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Terraform; (3) Datadog; (4) Jenkins CI/CD; (5) Helm charts; (6) SQL; (7) AWS DevOps; (8) Maven; (9) GIT; and (10) Kubernetes. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option.
