Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Develop, document, test and maintain integrations and automation between Slack’s internal and external systems. Develop complex integration solutions and automate workflows on cloud integration platforms using web services in various messaging payload formats. Gather and analyze data flow between Enterprise systems. Develop coding solutions for data transfer as per business processes, which are spread across Slack proprietary Mission Control, internal data platform, Marketing, Sales and Finance systems. Build seamless software integrations between enterprise software systems in partnership with internal and external product, research, data and measurement teams. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to successfully achieve internal and external software launch targets. Verify that Slack's data integration flows and pipelines satisfy the business needs of internal and external stakeholders and enable partners to maximize the full potential of the systems. Play a key role to lay foundations and develop data migration strategies from Slack to Salesforce systems using extensive knowledge of Slack proprietary systems and previously acquired knowledge of Salesforce tools and platforms.  Collaborate with Slack and Salesforce teams to innovate and develop scalable software solutions across industry challenges. Manage software development project schedules and identify potential risks and bottlenecks. Leverage deep industry experience to serve as an industry champion and analyst, researching and identifying key industry trends. Consult with external vendors on opportunities associated with latest industry software trends and potential business impacts. Communicate the team's analyses and recommendations to key stakeholders ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Mulesoft ESB Integration specialist (v3 and v4); (2) Salesforce Cloud; (3) Financial Force; (4) MuleSoft; (5) Rest API Development; (6) RabbitMQ, Kafka based queueing mechanism; (7) Splunk Log Management and Monitoring; (8) Java; (9) SQL; and (10) Java Swing. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $146,600.00 - $220,000.00 per annum.
