Job Description

The Sr. Change Manager will be a critical member of the Amazon Fresh Stores (AFS) operations team. This role will be an individual contributor who will collaborate with stakeholders in and outside of Fresh Stores including program and product managers from all areas of AFS.

This role is responsible for maintaining the portfolio of all projects and changes that impact Fresh Stores. They will iterate on the current strategy of project management for the organization and create a seamless, streamlined, repeatable process that can be easily understood and used by all members of the organization. The Sr Change Manager is someone who is fearless – able to respectfully but effectively push back on all levels of the organization to ensure that projects and programs rolling out to stores are appropriate, vetted, and correctly timed.

The life of this Sr. Change Manager includes, (but is not limited to):

• Advocate on behalf of the store during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience.

• Build and maintain holistic project timelines that allow for visibility and clarity on all upcoming changes to store teams.

• Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure AFS project portfolio remains up-to-date.

• Identify opportunities to develop and drive solutions to enable automated tools and applications.

• Support key strategic documents such as OP1 and business QBRs with all appropriate stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in project management or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools - word, excel, PowerPoint and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, quip and Onenote
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership
- 3+ Years retail experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Project Management certification (PMP/PRINCE2/IPMA)
- Experience working with Smartsheets
- Experience within complex organizational settings (e.g., PMO, geographic dispersion, etc.).
- Experience with project delivery for large, cross functional projects
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required and ambiguity is constant
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
