Job Description

Last Mile Property Damage (LMPD) Operations is part of the Last Mile Trust and Safety organization that supports incident response and investigation operations for all Amazon Last Mile driver types. Our programs focus on building Earth’s safest delivery network, and rely on safety operations to inform data-driven solutions that continuously improve the operations of our delivery network.

The LMPD Operations Team Manager manages a team of Investigation Specialists who perform high judgement investigations and conduct research to inform critical decision making for property damage claim administration. The Team Manager owns the day-to-day operations for their team and performs regular coaching and performance management through the use of available tools and operations dashboards to review key operational metrics and drive program case management quality and efficiency.

This position works Monday through Friday and would follow a hybrid schedule, commuting to the office at least three days a week; Tuesday-Thursday.

Candidates must be able to work at the SEA82 Everest office located in Bellevue, WA.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage task assignment on a day-to-day basis, monitoring performance on task or queue adherence, volume, and quality.
• Ensure productivity is maximized through supervision, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a regular basis.
• Provide regular, formal & informal feedback and performance reviews to direct reports.
• Liaise with Operations Manager on process improvement related to operations tasks.
• Present operational callouts to leadership during business reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
- -Insurance claims adjuster or incident investigation experience
- -Proficiency in intermediate/expert functions of Excel
- -Experience using Salesforce and other case management solutions
- - Experience using project management tools, such as Asana
- -Basic SQL/VBA knowledge a plus
- -Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $69,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
