Job Description:

The Assistant Graphic Designer-Professional Intern is responsible for creating and producing Graphic Design assets from concept to final artwork. Will focus on creative style guide development for Parks and consumer products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of Graphic Design & Branding for Product Development style guides and portfolios across multiple franchises under the direction of project design leads
• Awareness of design, fashion, and market trends
• Able to create strong POV or mood boards for projects
• Art style/new technique creative development to co-ordinate with trends in the marketplace
• Contribute new graphic design ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions
• Responsible for maintaining Graphic Design standards that meet brand guidelines and strategies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Art, Graphic Design and/or Illustration
• Strong traditional and digital drawing skills in addition to concept capabilities
• Strong creative computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Creative Suite, Keynote)
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Some production skills needed
• Proactive / Can-do attitude
• Optimistic, team player
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

All Character Artists and Graphic Designers on the team.  Director of Graphic Design, VP and Director of Art and Story, Operations, Production, Packaging, Product Design, Merchandising, and WDI.
