Job Description

Prime Video brings together the world’s best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. Not only are we a one-stop hub for distinctive, critically-acclaimed and award-winning original programming including TV series such as The Rings of Power, The Boys and The Summer I Turned Pretty, and movies like Coming 2 America, Cinderella, and The Tomorrow War, but we offer a multi-dimensional experience that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their fandom: to read the book, to listen to the soundtrack, to buy the costume, to replay live sports in real time, and more. And that breadth and connection to the Amazon family of brands, along with the support of a passionate and diverse global team, makes Prime Video a company where creators and makers of all kinds can build their future.

We are looking for a Senior Content Strategy Manager to join our LATCANZ Content Marketing Strategy team. The Content Marketing Strategy team is the hub for content prioritization in the Prime Video Marketing org. Content Marketing Strategy provides a slate level perspective in order to guide partner teams on how specific content launches can benefit PV Customers and the PV Business. This team partners with Genre Marketing Teams, O&O Marketing, Global Marketing Strategy peers, Programming, and Content Acquisition and Development teams to ensure that title level goals and priorities drive toward PV service level goals.

The ideal candidate has a combination of strategic, intuitive and quantitative skills with an eye for detail. They have the ability to get their hands dirty, helping to surface the voice of current and future Prime Video customers through data analysis, sourced from all available internal and external data sources. They have exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal) to drive strategic business recommendations with marketing leaders and earn trust with colleagues across the business. They are passionate about content, marketing, and love to learn about customers tastes and behaviors. They are empathetic about our customers and their needs, and can be a strong advocate for them. They have exhibited existing behaviors that suggest they are entrenched in popular culture, know what is trending/resonating in the cultural zeitgeist and can tie that back to clear business recommendations backed by data driven insights. They aren’t afraid to dive head first into data, developing interpretations and implications for the business. At the same time, they thrive in the ambiguity and subjectivity of evaluating creative content and how it will resonate in each territory within LATCANZ, diving deep into scripts, research, casting and screening locked cuts for insight. They have experience project managing multiple projects at once and working with various stakeholders. They are a true left and right brain leader.

Key job responsibilities
- Provides title-level marketing assessments that shape marketing priorities across our slate of Movie, Series, and Sports campaigns by diving deep into all available data.
- Voice Marketing’s point of view in greenlight and approvals processes across Original Movies & Series, 3P Licensed Content, Sports, and Live Events.
- Collaborate closely with Content Strategy and Programming Strategy to manage the slate of content launches throughout the year.
- Track and share out slate changes and content development updates with local and regional stakeholders on a quarterly basis to revisit title level prioritization.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams (e.g. Media, O&O, Social, Finance) to ensure sure teams are informed of the latest plans
- Gain greater understanding of our customer’s needs through deep dives into 1P and 3P data sources.
