The opportunity

 

We are currently seeking for a Senior Law professional specialized in Regulatory - Compliance - Corporate Governance to support our Legal team and help our clients in law projects at different industry sectors. Actively establish internal and external relationships. Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues. You will also keep informed of professional standards and firm policies and procedures and effectively apply this knowledge to different client situations.

Your key responsibilities

 

Everything you will do will come back to providing special legal activities for our clients. To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • 3-5 years professional law working experience in Regulatory, Compliance  and Corporate Governance matters
  • Broad understanding of corporate and regulatory matters (e.g. Corporate governance, AML/KYC, Ethics & Compliance, OECD practices)
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in handling third parties such as regulatory bodies
  • A willingness to embrace a new challenge, in a non-traditional legal services environment
  • Strong academic record including degree (bachelor) in Law from a Greek university
  • LLM in Corporate/Commercial (preferably from a top ranked university)
  • Substantial MS office knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills
  • Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy
  • Self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Prior experience in a banking or financial compliance or regulatory department will be considered a strong asset;
