COMPLETE SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description

The Senior SAP ABAP Developer will join the Technology Consulting Banking Domain team and be responsible for the delivery of development work within EY and on projects with external clients. This position is mostly client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a Senior SAP ABAP Developer will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Interaction with business and functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and assist in defining technical requirements
• Development of custom functionality to meet provided requirements
• Assessment and quality assurance of code developed by other developers within the team
• Guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members
• Execution of performance, functional and non-functional testing of developed solutions
• Work with a broader team, to ensure the correct solution is provided to the client

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in the banking domain, through a financial institution or an industry software vendor company.
• Proven industry relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of banking domain, associated standards, practices and regulations
• Client facing service experience required. Engagement across stakeholders and ability to interact with various levels of
• Preferred tertiary qualification (Honours degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field)
• Experience in Banking and Financial Services projects
• Experience in SAP Banking Services preferred
• Experience in SAP Payments Engine and associated integration highly advantageous
• Experience in Agile methodology projects preferred

• Presentation and Facilitation Skills
