As the Manager, Production Resources with Disney Live Entertainment - Disney Signature Experiences, you would provide direct leadership and oversight to a diverse and multi- discipline team responsible for supporting Live Entertainment long term strategy, ongoing collaborative opportunities, experience optimization initiatives, talent strategy, management, and a centralized resource team for all production needs, administrative and reporting tools, and workflow for multiple teams in the development of live show entertainment product on Disney Cruise Line ships, and locations around the globe.

You will report to Director of Show Production and Delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Accountable for comprehensive strategic staffing for your teams - Creative, Production and Technical
  • Lead team to develop, cultivate and present metrics, methodologies and reporting to enable planning and support of the Entertainment portfolio
  • Drive the organization and interpretation of statistical data for advising business strategies and decisions for senior executive leadership with the development and menu planning of live show entertainment product.
  • Lead key meetings around shared labor resources to include assignments, rotations, talent assessment, strategic placement, and succession planning.
  • Cultivate a culture of inclusive thinking – as it related to recruitment and hiring diverse talent.
  • Lead and facilitate departmental meetings with your team with a primary focus on process improvements and identification of resources required to perform their role optimally.
  • Guide project work, while assigning appropriate resources, crafting training and development opportunities, and partner in ways to help empower others.
  • Provide timely and organized facility and infrastructure/systems support
  • Partner with production executives, leaders, peers, and additional lines of business on attaining consistency of processes and application.
  • Influence and implement the development of the Annual Operating Plan and its budget.
  • Lead a variety of coordinated planning efforts, including social media review of entertainment product and entertainment offering priority lists.
  • Strategize and analyze the Production lifecycle, ensuring that our project strategy is aligned and connected to the execution of project.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years senior management experience leading future product development in Show Production.
  • Requires expert level comprehension of labor planning and prioritization in support of Production Projects and Processes
  • Ability to handle financial/accounting issues
  • Ability to work flexible hours - nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Willing to travel to domestic and foreign venues for extended periods of time.
  • Passport required and corporate credit card will be provided travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in cruise industry senior leadership
  • 5+years’ project administration and 7 years’ operating experience
  • Knowledge of public affairs standard methodologies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in theatre, statistics, strategy, Industrial Engineering, Leadership Development or equivalent experience
