We are looking for a Director Product Management to lead our real-time Data Cloud product management efforts. You will be responsible for building real-time systems that process petabytes of data in milliseconds and personalize any information based on users’ unified profiles across Salesforce’s Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce and Loyalty Clouds. 

Responsibilities:

  • As the product owner for real-time DataCloud, enable our customers/brands to process consumer data through a real-time platform in milliseconds, allowing AI to use this data to deliver personalized content, recommendations or responses.

  • Prioritize and maintain a balance between ongoing maintenance/bugs, new feature requests, and the need to keep real-time integrations simple and flexible while continuously evolving with changes in the competitive landscape.

  • Collaborate effectively with VP-level stakeholders across teams and become the subject matter expert for real-time processing within Data Cloud. 

  • Be the go-to product person for real-time across Salesforce serving as the general contractor for cross-functional product teams spanning all Salesforce clouds. Working with internal stakeholders with complex needs will require strong product leadership to ensure alignment, consistent design principles, and adoption across all teams.

  • Establishing strong working relationships with engineering managers, architects, and counterparts is key to your success.

  • Deliver resources to support adoption through various outbound channels, training, trailhead, blogs, open source and internal proof of concepts.

  • Balance product vision & roadmap with partner and customer feedback, competitive analysis, and user research in prioritizing across a diverse set of inputs and constituents.

  • Engage with our partner and customer communities to deliver feature and product enablement, drive customer success and product adoption.

  • Highly Data Driven, experienced with estimations, drive metrics and KPI for adoption, growth etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience in building and delivering core product / platform features

  • Expertise in managing highly technical, multi-workstream product launches; experience with distributed systems or data-intensive / infrastructure products is a plus.

  • Experience in building and working with product technology in at least one of the following areas: Web and Mobile personalization systems, DMP, CDP, real-time-bidding, or demand side buying systems.

  • Familiarity with low latency data ecosystems is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute against a plan.

  • Willingness to engage deeply with engineering, solution engineers and customers is a must.

  • Prior experience in building & delivering a product in a matrixed organization is a plus.
