Job Description

In this role, you will create and manage a complex range of activities that drive employee volunteering at scale, including creating and managing community partnerships and charitable donations across multiple Amazon teams and locations. This will require cultivating trustworthy relationships with partner teams within Amazon and community organizations and nonprofits externally. We’re looking for someone with a track record of delivering results for large-scale projects and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. Having a passion for social good is imperative and an understanding of employee engagement is important.
The ideal candidate will be a product manager at heart, and in expertise, someone who enjoys “getting things done” systematically, and looks forward to rolling up their sleeves and diving deep into process and data, and will be entrepreneurial and efficient in their approach to support the AITC India team in the volunteering goals and priorities. Candidates who have managed complex stakeholder environments and have the ability to be “pleasantly persistent” while closing priorities and delivering results will find the role challenging and rewarding!

Key job responsibilities
• Support the employee volunteering program centrally by creating and managing tech tools for efficient scaling, monitoring KPIs and interfacing with service agencies as required
• Interface with 3P product partners to work on product features and end-to-end customer experience of employees and nonprofits
• Own supply and manage the pipeline of volunteering opportunities for key campaigns including Global Month of Volunteering, over the year.
• Develop mechanisms to match the supply of volunteering opportunities and demand from teams and employees for community programs
• Leading and nurturing relationships with the community partners/ nonprofits
• Streamlining project outcomes and activities, getting timely program data and reports
• Lead and manage strategic communications for the programs, write effective content, and deliver program information to internal and external audiences, for the central volunteering programs.
• Supporting AITC/volunteering team in collaborating with cross-functional partner teams including internal communications, public relations, public policy, human resources, and legal, central/global volunteering teams
• Track key performance indicators and write reports that summarize metrics and results.
• Capture lessons learned, be curious about new approaches, and research opportunities to continuously improve program tactics.

A day in the life
A day in the life of the PM, Volunteering will be interesting and multi-faceted. You might start the day checking your volunteer dashboard on status versus goals and the volunteer calendar, and working on key priorities for the month if there are special campaigns running. You will spend time looking at metrics such as fill rates, sign ups, conversions etc and come up with solutions where needed. You will interface with partner nonprofits and product service providers on examining recently concluded events or upcoming plans. You will spend time on hearing Voices of your customer to understand what's working, whats not and what you could be doing next.
