The Financial Aid Office's primary goal is to work with you and your family to achieve your educational goals. After all, your education is an investment in your future. Through scholarships, grants, federal student loans, and employment opportunities, 99% of Thiel students receive assistance.
Financial aid administered by Thiel College's Financial Aid Office is electronically disbursed to the student's account no earlier than ten days before the start of each term. It continues on an as-needed basis based on the fulfillment of student eligibility requirements. Disbursement dates are contingent upon the student completing all necessary paperwork and meeting the grant/scholarship/loan enrollment requirements. Federal loan monies require completing the master promissory note (MPN) and entrance counseling online before disbursement.
Scholarships allow students to fund their education without worrying about having to pay the money back. There are several different types of scholarships available to students based on their strengths. For example, merit-based scholarships are given to those who have achieved academic success. Some scholarships are awarded to students who have devoted their time to community service and involvement. Scholarships are also available for students that are active leaders in various clubs and organizations.
