UNO faculty members teach all of UNO's online courses. Extended Campus works directly with UNO's academic departments to create classes and methods.
Every online UNO student is assigned an academic advisor in their department, can participate in online orientations, and has access to the University's counseling, library, and career resources. UNO consistently appears on U.S. News & World Report Least Debt List, highlighting the 20 national universities where students graduate with the lowest average debt loads.UNO offers certification programs and training in a variety of fields. These certifications and training allow students to build their resumes, gain specific skills necessary to advance in their job and career, and in some cases, fulfill statewide certification requirements.

You don't have to delay your dream of obtaining a college degree. You can receive a quality education for significantly less than other state universities. For the sixth straight year, the University of New Orleans ranks among the universities whose students graduate with the lightest debt. UNO awards students for their academic achievements and works to assist those with financial need by utilizing grants, state supplements (such as TOPS), and scholarships to meet students' financial obligations to the University.
Most scholarships are awarded based on academic credentials and student accomplishments. Additional scholarships may be offered that involve an interview, and qualified admitted students will be notified accordingly. Also, many out-of-state applicants may qualify for in-state tuition. For nearly 60 years, UNO has provided a pathway to success for tens of thousands of graduates. We offer a wide array of highly relevant undergraduate and graduate academic degree programs in one of the world's most exciting and culturally vibrant cities.
