The University of the Pacific is a nationally ranked university with three distinct campuses united under one common goal: to educate and prepare the leaders of tomorrow through intensive academic study, experiential learning, and service to the community. The university offers more than 80 undergraduate study areas in 11 schools and colleges, more than 30 graduate and professional programs, and 12 accelerated programs.
The university's distinctive Northern California footprint includes its Stockton Campus, widely recognized as one of the most beautiful private university campuses in the West, its San Francisco Campus, home to the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduate programs in health care and technology fields and the Sacramento Campus, home to the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and graduate programs in health, education, public policy, public administration, data science, and organizational behavior. The student population comprises more than 3,800 undergraduates and more than 2,700 graduate and professional students. Pacific students benefit from small class sizes with an average class size of 19 and a student-faculty ratio of 12:1.

A full range of resources and services enrich our students' education, including access to the William Knox Holt Memorial Library, which houses the papers of environmentalist John Muir, and jazz legend and Pacific alumnus Dave Brubeck '42.
Our students have the opportunity to expand their education through research with the help of the Office of Research and Scholarship and the Pacific Fellowship Office, which connect students to their passions through prestigious fellowships and funding for undergraduate and graduate research. Pacific's Career Resource Center provides various services and programs to connect students to invaluable internship opportunities and help prepare them for success in their chosen career path. The Office of International Programs and Services offers 200 programs of study through its Education Abroad program, allowing Pacific students to engage with other cultures, languages, and societies in over 90 different countries.
With concerts featuring chart-topping artists, 14 intramural sports clubs, a 32' tall rock-climbing tower, over 150 student clubs and organizations, community outreach opportunities, campus life at Pacific complements and enriches your academic and professional studies.
Campus life at Pacific is as unique as the 4,000 undergraduates who call our Stockton campus their home. Ours is a diverse and vibrant community, with dozens of social and professional organizations celebrating and honoring the cultures, heritages, and beliefs of our students, faculty, and staff. Under President Eibeck, the University of the Pacific continues to be a highly ranked national university that remains deeply committed to its personal, student-centered approach. Campuses in Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco strategically position Pacific in three of California's and the nation's most essential and dynamic markets.
Pacific has added more than a dozen new academic programs across its three campuses over the last three years. Once the exclusive homes to Pacific's law and dental schools, the Sacramento and San Francisco campuses now reach new students with graduate programs in data science, physician assistant studies, audiology, music therapy, education, public policy, and public administration and organizational behavior. These programs help address the region's critical need for leaders in technology, health care, education, government, and nonprofit sectors. New graduate and undergraduate programs have been launched on Stockton Campus designed to equip students for success in the digital era, including Media X. This program integrates the analysis, performance, production, marketing, and management of traditional, digital, and emerging media.
Pacific students gain the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the 21st century through experiential learning, robust career preparation, and diverse communities. Pacific faculty/scholars take a deep interest in discovering their talents, providing an unparalleled landscape of learning. At six months after graduation, more than 92% percent of the Class of 2017 was employed or accepted to a graduate or professional school, completing a post-graduate internship or fellowship, or serving in a military or community service experience. In 2017, Pacific alumni salaries ranked No. 3 in California compared to similar institutions, according to the White House College Scorecard.
