Celebrating our 90th anniversary, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology has trained more than 140,000 pilots and technicians between our Tulsa, Oklahoma, Los Angeles, California, and Denver, Colorado campuses. In addition to its degree programs, Spartan College is proud to provide flight and aviation maintenance training for the United States Air Force at Tulsa's facilities. Our flight instructors are highly recognized as some of the best in the industry, leading to multiple contracts with the U.S. Government.
Our performance is proven through our graduates' success rate and job placement, many of whom are employed with leading aviation companies, including Delta, Republic Airways, Sky West Airlines, Ameriflight, Envoy, AAR. Each Spartan program is designed to offer a broad set of general job skill competencies, hands-on learning experiences, and classroom presentations by our industry-experienced instructors. This year, we are proud to be celebrating our 90th anniversary as a pioneer in aeronautics. It all began in 1928 when Spartan founder, oil magnate W.G. Skelly surmised that air transportation would come of age and bring with it a need for skilled aircraft technicians and pilots – and he was right. As a result of his vision, the Spartan School of Aeronautics, with its learn-by-doing teaching philosophy, quickly became recognized as an aviation education leader.
Today, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology has prepared more than 140,000 technicians and pilots for rewarding careers in the aeronautics industry. Expanding its operations in recent years, beyond Tulsa, to Denver, CO, Los Angeles, CA, and Inland Empire, CA, has enabled Spartan College to continue to influence aviation worldwide significantly.
