For more than 150 years, St. Francis has provided an affordable, quality education to students of all racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. Ninety-seven percent of SFC students receive some form of financial aid, including federal and state grants, federal loans, and newly increased amounts of institutional scholarships, making St. Francis one of the most affordable private colleges in New York City. Merit-based scholarships that cover near-full tuition for graduating high school students with 1200 on their SAT's are the cornerstone of the College's financial aid program.
Nineteen academic departments offer 72 major and minor fields of study, ranging from classic liberal arts to high-demand fields such as nursing, education, communication arts, criminal justice, management, medical technology, and many other healthcare-related fields. Graduates of our five-year combined Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting regularly accept jobs at Big Four Accounting Firms and significant private companies.
Students participate in 21 NCAA Division I athletic teams, including our recent NEC Champion Men's and Women's Basketball team, two times NEC Champions Men's Soccer team, Women's Volleyball, and the nationally ranked Men's Water Polo and Women's Bowling teams.

We also offer two Masters' Degree Programs in Accounting and a five-year combined Bachelor's and Master's Program in Psychology.
Our core curriculum grounds students in a solid liberal arts foundation, allowing them to pursue several comprehensive programs. It 'sIt's common to see a St. Francis College student working towards a double major in two very different fields. The classrooms are small. All courses are taught only by professors, with students receiving the personal attention they need to thrive.
