Saint Anselm offers 46 majors and 51 minors and several pre-professional programs to prepare students for advanced studies in engineering, dentistry, law, medicine, and theology. Whether you are technically minded, artistically gifted, politically inspired, or socially conscious, at Saint Anselm College, you will find a direction.
The academic core at Saint Anselm has been designed to give students a breadth of experience to prepare them for life. This is where things get interesting where you will make connections between the scientific and the philosophical, the artistic, and the theological. As a first-year student in Conversation, our Humanities Program, you will be introduced to the perennial questions faced by humankind. Equipping students with a foundation of knowledge, Conversation is the heart of our academic program.
There is one in every classroom: a faculty member dedicated to your success. Saint Anselm faculty will know you, have time for you, and help you reach your goals.
Our 153 full-time professors are experts in their field. They are researchers, writers, sometimes political commentators, and, first and foremost, always teachers. With small classes and zero teaching assistants, our professors care about what you are learning.

A Saint Anselm education is an investment in your future that yields a lifetime of rewards. Approximately 98% of Saint Anselm students received some form of an institutional grant or scholarship assistance. Through scholarships, grants, loans, payment plans, and other forms of financial assistance, you may discover the cost of attending Saint Anselm is less than you think.
The college experience is about more than coursework. Students at Saint Anselm College have a significant number of opportunities to enrich their time at Saint Anselm by joining a community of peers and becoming involved in our rich campus life.
Our campus is home to students, instructors, researchers, and administrators, all striving to create a community where learning shapes living, where the search for knowledge takes place in an environment that values critical thinking, multicultural exchange, and service to humanity.
Whether they are working and learning together in one of our Student Clubs, giving their time to communities in need through help local, national, and international Volunteering and Service, or just socializing in the Residence Halls, students at Saint Anselm are sure to find themselves at home on campus.
The Benedictine Catholic tradition of nurturing human understanding through liberal education and community engagement is a foundation of campus life at Saint Anselm. In addition to regular Mass held on campus in The Abbey Church, students may choose to participate in Campus Ministry events and activities, including spiritual retreats, service-oriented spring break alternatives, as well as service volunteerism.
At Saint Anselm, learning through experience will prepare you for the next step in your life, whether it is a professional job, graduate school, or a volunteer organization. 98% of 2016 Saint Anselm graduates were employed, in school, or engaged in service within six months of commencement.
You are encouraged to utilize our office's services beginning in your first year to fully develop and understand your skills, interests, and values about employment and graduate school opportunities. It is also essential to begin a discussion during the first year about experiential opportunities such as study abroad, faculty-student research options, and credit-bearing internships with your faculty adviser so you can build these necessary experiences into your academic schedule.
