The School’s newly refurbished classrooms and buildings, which have been designed specifically for the needs of the school, provide the pupils of Ysgol Penybryn the ultimate environment to learn at the primary level. Pupils have access to the latest iPad and touchscreen technology and have full use of the new School Hall.
Ysgol Penybryn is conveniently located in the heart of the Tywyn, Gwynedd – making it easily accessible for the local community. Its traditional roadside face hides the large and modern school from the road. Passing further into the School reveals a very large and spacious area with accompanying playing and football fields. Ysgol Penybryn also has a Pupil’s garden, where students are actively encouraged to grow their flowers and vegetation.
After School clubs include Dragon sports, Urdd, Clwb Cyw for years 1a2, Green club. Occasionally performing club is held during the lunch hour. The Urdd activities play an important role in the life of the school. Ysgol Penybryn has an excellent teaching pedigree combined with the latest teaching and learning technology. The educational environment at Ysgol Penybryn is the perfect setup for your child’s first steps into education.
The school has undergone a complete refurbishment and is equipped with IT equipment for every class, libraries are placed within all classes. We have a large school hall with a separate dining area. We have to change facilities for PE lessons. The school garden provides an opportunity for the children to learn about gardening, environments, and caring for nature. We accept pupils 3-11 years of age.
