We are extremely proud of our purposely adapted school building and extensive grounds – indeed they are of the highest standard. Investment has been made to upgrade the ICT provision at the school with the current computer and tablet technology. The Sports equipment and areas are all of a high standard with specialized P.E. tuition for the pupils weekly. As part of the Foundation Phase, the outside areas have been developed to incorporate the skill-based elements of the curriculum. We aim to provide a high standard of education that reflects the needs of each pupil enabling each one to reach his / her full potential.
We aim to provide a happy and safe environment whereby each individual is appreciated and praised. A balance between academic success and the development of sound personal skills is strived for to develop a confident and responsible individual within his / her community. We aim to provide a high standard of education that reflects the needs of each pupil enabling each one to reach his / her full potential within a happy, challenging, and fair environment.
At our school, we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity, supporting good relations between all members of the school community, and eliminating unlawful discrimination. All pupils are appreciated equally. These aims are strengthened in the school’s ‘Equal Opportunities Policy.
We are very keen to encourage good attendance and we work closely with parents to this end. If you intend to keep your child away from school because he/she is not well, we would ask that you either telephone the school or notify us in writing. We operate a first-day contact system in which parents are contacted if we have not received information regarding an absence. The school is obliged to inform the Local Authority if a pupil is failing to attend school regularly. Family holidays during term time should be avoided. Parents are asked to request the appropriate approval form from the school.
