Bro Bank is a warm and welcoming school that currently caters to children from Reception to Year 6. In an ever-changing world our vision is Carmarthen our school to provide a warm and welcoming environment for children, staff, parents, and the community, in which we are all valued and inspired to learn.
We aim to be a school that has high expectations of its pupils and the adults that work here. There is outstanding Teaching and Learning that is enjoyable, exciting, progressive, and active, which meets the demands of the curriculum and challenges the individual child. We strive hard to be a school that equips children with the skills for their futures.
Through the School Council and PHSE lessons, our children are given a clear voice. Their views and ideas are respected and encouraged to make our school a place of safety, learning, and fun.
If we are to ensure that we provide the very best learning experiences for our young people, we must work in partnership with you. We have spent a great deal of time working alongside the pupils to develop a vision and mission statement that reflects our aims and also our vision for the future at Ysgol Bro Bank.
Our Vision Here at Ysgol Bro Bank we are paving the way for future pioneers in a digital age, by creating a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through digital development and innovative instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment where each pupil's self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with staff. We strive to have our parents, teachers, and community members actively involved in our pupil's learning
Mission statement: paving the way for future pioneers. Behavior means self-discipline on the part of each pupil in the school. A sense of respect for peers, property, and the environment must be engendered amongst all pupils. Pupils are encouraged to realize that they, as individuals, are members of a community.
They will learn that anti-social behavior affects everyone in the school. The policy will build the self-esteem of each pupil. The policy will eradicate bullying, either physical or emotional. The policy will guard against any pupil being inappropriately influenced, subjected to duress, radicalization, or any form of racial intolerance (in keeping with the PREVENT agenda). The policy will ensure honesty trust and fairness tolerance and compassion the virtues of self-respect and self-discipline. To achieve these aims a whole-school approach will be required. Parental influence and support is also an essential ingredient in achieving an acceptable code of behavior amongst pupils.
