At Ysgol Borthyn we work very hard to make our school a creative, happy place for your child to flourish and grow. We aim to deliver learning that develops all their skills through Christian Values that equip them for life in the twenty-first century and the next stage in their education. Ysgol Borthyn has a tradition of fostering a happy and hardworking atmosphere based on sound interpersonal relationships between pupils and teachers.
We constantly strive to create a school environment that is caring and inclusive. The school is known within Ruthin for its warm, friendly, family atmosphere and Christian ethos where children feel valued and secure. We have a good relationship with Borthyn Bunnies, the pre-school setting, and we also provide a Breakfast Club as well as an After School club, we can offer all daycare from 8 am until 5.30 pm.
Our school motto is Excellence, Enjoyment, and Enrichment within a Christian Learning Community. We are an inclusive school and work with other local schools and agencies to ensure the highest standard of provision for all our pupils. We provide additional support for pupils who are more and less able. Your child’s talents and achievements are as important to us as they are to you and are celebrated by the whole school community at every opportunity. We welcome any expertise or assistance you may be able to offer us in delivering the best possible opportunities for our pupils.
We recognize, the partnership between home and school is a vital one and we appreciate parents, carers, Church, and the community in Ruthin working together with us. We endeavor to support our pupils to grow into valuable citizens of Ruthin. If you would like to come and join us by helping out in classes or supporting the PTFA in their fundraising events we would be only too pleased to see you.
