The purpose of the Student Leadership programs is to provide opportunities for students to explore their leadership identity, develop and enhance leadership competencies, and prepare students for college and community leadership roles.
To create a distinctive leadership experience for YCP students that spans divisions, we have created a programming framework that came out of conversations from the Student Leadership Taskforce. The framework includes three levels of development that students move through during their time at YCP. The framework utilizes the Social Change Model of Leadership and Strengths-Based Education philosophy.
