Our outward-looking ethos aims to encourage a genuine enthusiasm for learning and an ability to independently explore subjects beyond the classroom. Our curriculum addresses a rapidly changing world filled with complex challenges as well as exciting new possibilities. The pastoral care at St Margaret’s is the central pillar upon which the success of the school is based and we are proud of the quality of care and opportunity were given to every one of our pupils no matter what stage of their education. We offer a rich program of extra-curricular activities and pupils are encouraged to find their talent whatever that may be. There is no typical St Margaret’s pupil all are valued individually by our qualified and committed staff. However, they are all dedicated young people who strive to succeed in all that they do and are passionate about topics facing them today. The quality of care at St Margaret’s School enables pupils to grow in an atmosphere of tolerance and understanding and leave equipped with the confidence, aptitude, and skills they need for life and work. Our beautiful 60-acre site boasts a combination of superbly resourced historic and modern buildings and we are easily accessible from both London, the Home Counties, and all the major London airports. If you have not yet visited us, please do and we will show you the love of learning, culture of achievement, and relish of challenge that is the essence of St Margaret’s. At St Margaret’s we believe that a pupil can only reach their full potential if they are first, happy and confident in the school environment and secondly, stimulated and challenged to step outside their comfort zone. Young pupils flourish at St Margaret’s, equipped to pursue ambitions with confidence and ready to face both the wonders and challenges of our fast-changing world. They learn to understand compassion and empathy and the importance of not only being part of a community but how vital it is to give back to it. We have three key aims at St Margaret’s. We aim to provide: A broadly based academic and co-curricular program that enables them to achieve exam success and education for life, equipping our pupils to pursue their ambitions with confidence, wisdom, and compassion. An inclusive pastoral ethos rooted in kindness and respect for ourselves, each other, and our environment with an emphasis on service to others both in school and in the global community. A striving for excellence in all that we do and the upholding of the values of the school arising from its traditions and heritage as we look to the future.
