The school will provide many opportunities to make lasting friendships with other children from the local community.
At Reay, we welcome parents and carers into the school to support the learning of their child in partnership with our experienced staff. Our “Friends of Reay” eagerly await new members to organize fun events for the whole school community. We look forward to you becoming fully involved in the life of the school.
We actively encourage speaking and listening to help children make sense of their world and become confident communicators. This is a vital component of all literacy and written work.
We want all learning to be fun and relevant. Our staff works hard to make links between different areas of the curriculum so children find their work is meaningful and connected. For example, we use maths to help solve problems and find out how things work, and we also use maths in cooking, design, science, and dance.
Children learn how to grow vegetables and how to look after themselves and their environment. We continually update our provision with new technologies ensuring that children are equipped for the world they are growing up in.
