We are a two-form entry primary school with a Nursery class and a Resource Base for pupils with ASD. We operate a fully inclusive curriculum and an environment with values at the heart of all we do. We work together with children, parents, and any relevant outside agencies to ensure that all of our children achieve all they are capable of and more.
The school is a well-resourced site with four playgrounds, an ICT suite, library, garden, two halls, and a separate dining hall. Working together with our local community is important to us at Paget. We are a part of the Erdington Schools Collaboration, working closely together with 6 other Erdington schools. Our other community partners include other local primary and secondary schools, St. Mary's Church, and Kingsbury Sports Partnership.
Paget Primary is a Values School. It is our values that determine our thinking and behavior. Through a Values-based Education, a positive culture for teaching and learning is created which is based upon valuing ourselves, each other, and the environment. Our school values support the development of the whole child. The 22 values are taught on a two-year rolling program. These values have been agreed upon by staff, governors, parents, and pupils.
Children at Paget come from a range of home backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and religions and all get on extremely well together to make a kind, warm and friendly atmosphere where all children thrive and develop. Ofsted said that ‘pupils typically behave very well in school and on the playground. They are courteous and polite, and show respect to each other.’
Staff at Paget are caring, talented, and fully committed to providing the best possible learning experiences for the children in our care. Ofsted said that ‘the curriculum is a strength of the school. It is broad, varied, and effectively supports pupils’ personal development.’

It is an exciting time at Paget as we have designed a new curriculum that ensures our children get the most out of their time at Paget Primary. The curriculum at Paget Primary School is organized through the 'Paget Curriculum Guarantee'. The Paget Curriculum Guarantee provides all of our children with a rich, varied, broad, and balanced program that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum and the Birmingham RE Agreed Syllabus as well as providing other aspects designed to meet the needs of all Paget children. At the heart of all, we do is the Values-Based Education approach, Values underpins all aspects of school life at Paget.
The Paget Curriculum Guarantee is the minimum expectation of all that the children will experience during their time at Paget. It provides the children with a wide range of opportunities that will give them the values, skills, knowledge, and understanding to grow and develop into successful learners and responsible citizens.
