Welcome to Lyon Park Primary School. Lyon Park is a large four-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Brent. Our dedicated staff offers a broad curriculum that provides children with the experiences, skills, and confidence to be independent learners with enquiring minds. We have a strong focus on reading, writing, and maths, whilst providing specialist teaching in music, Spanish and Physical Education. We pride ourselves on our pastoral care and the relationships with our parents. Our school values facilitate an encouraging and respectful community where children and adults, learn and achieve.

We want the children at Lyon Park to enjoy their learning and have a variety of experiences whilst at school. We aim to achieve this through high standards of learning and teaching and through making appropriate links across the curriculum. Within a stimulating and structured environment, we want the children to apply and consolidate skills in Maths and English across a range of subject areas. English, Maths, and Science are taught based on the National Curriculum of Study (September 2014) as well as the Foundation subjects. Our curriculum strives to ensure breadth and balance by making links between concepts and skills within several subjects at the same time.
