We are proud to serve the local community and see ourselves as an important part of it. We welcome children of all backgrounds and work together with our children’s families to achieve the very best for each child. We believe we are all learners for life, adults and children alike and we try to instill this in our pupils.
Governors and teaching staff at Jubilee Community Primary School and Children’s Centre are proud of the progress being made by our school and are determined to maintain and build on that progress. Our vision is to create an outstanding school, which enriches our pupils’ lives, provides them with an inspiring, rounded education, the opportunity to achieve excellence in music, and the confidence and social skills to go on to become active and leading members of society. We believe that every child can succeed and we will equip all our children with the skills needed to fulfill their potential and the opportunities to do so.
All teaching will be judged as good or better and will result in outstanding progress and achievement for our pupils. We will continue to recruit, retain and develop excellent staff who support each other, are dedicated to the school, and have the highest expectations for their pupils. We will use the topic-based 'International Primary Curriculum' to deliver exciting stimulating lessons for our pupils, which promote participation, engagement, and meaningful learning. Our pupils will learn in a wide variety of ways, be able to apply their skills, and understand how their learning relates to the world they live in.
We will also work with London Music Masters through the 'Bridge Project', allowing our pupils to achieve excellence in music. Children arriving in reception will receive specialist musicianship classes and this will progress to every child receiving violin tuition from professional musicians, with the aim that lifelong love of music will be fostered and many will go on to achieve technical expertise.
We will provide an environment where our children feel safe and valued. They in return will be polite and considerate and will not act in ways that disrupt other children's learning. We actively promote responsible behavior and will build on this are working towards becoming a fully 'Rights Respecting School', putting the United Nations Rights of the Child at the heart of our school, and modeling rights and respect in all our relationships.
