Our curriculum is broad, balanced, differentiated, and relevant to the need of each individual. We have high expectations of all our pupils, recognizing differing skills and abilities so helping to prepare them for full and responsible lives. We employ a variety of teaching methods as we recognize that children have different preferred learning styles. Children may work as groups, pairs, or individuals and are encouraged to be responsible and to take pride in their work. We value our skills-based curriculum which places great emphasis on practical, inquiry-led learning in which children are encouraged to explore things for themselves and to become aware of how they are learning new skills and gaining new knowledge.
