Academically, the results speak for themselves. Not only do Concord students produce astonishing GCSE and A level performances, but they also go on to attend top universities in the UK and around the world. Concord is annually ranked highly in UK school league tables. But it is perhaps even more impressive that ‘The Good Schools Guide’ has described our wonderful school as ‘near perfect, ‘in a league of its own and ‘where the next generation of global high flyers is being nurtured’.

Education is more than just grades. Grades are certainly the ‘passport’ that students need to move on to the next stage of their lives and that employers will take account of in the future. But, the real art of education is to develop the confidence and self-worth of the young person holding the ‘passport’ that grades provide. Moral values and the soft skills of empathy, communication, team-working and time management are just as important to develop the confidence that is so central to any young person’s future.

Finally, when you join Concord, you are not just joining us for a few years: you are joining the Concord community that stretches around the globe and across the generations. Concord College is a highly academic independent international school in England for day and boarding students. We welcome students from all over the world and the local area into our vibrant and varied community.

Girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 19 enjoy fabulous facilities on our safe 80-acre campus set in the heart of the English countryside. We expect our students to achieve the highest standards and to gain entry to top universities in the UK. We also take care to nurture the individuality of students at Concord to develop their self-confidence. They are also encouraged to understand the needs of others and to respect the values of the Concord community.

We are very proud of the academic success of the students here at Concord. Here are some of our headlines from 2018/19:

• Best-ever A level results: 84% A*/A at A level (97% A*-B grade, 100% A*-C grade).
• 19 students into Oxford and Cambridge.
• 11 students into LSE, 17 to Imperial, 10 to KCL, and 34 into UCL.
• 35 students into medical, dental, and veterinary schools.
• 72% of Concord’s university places were for the top 10 UK universities (81% for top 20).
• 47% of GCSE grades awarded were grade 9 or equivalent – 10 times the national average for grade 9. 85% were grade 7 or higher (A*/A equivalent).
• Concord has been ranked in the top 3 independent schools for A level according to the latest data provided by the ISC (Independent Schools Council).
• Ranked 5th for independent schools for A-level results in The Daily Telegraph. Ranked 5th in The Times for A-Level results in co-educational schools. Ranked 6th for independent schools for GCSE results in The Times.

Concord is a very special place. It is a school where young people can pursue their studies in an atmosphere where academic success is celebrated.
