The biggest advantages of Cracow University of Technology (CUT) are: over the 70-year-old tradition of educating engineers, modernity, and openness to change as well as hard work on the improvement of the Polish scientific and technical thought. Thanks to them CUT won a strong position and well-established brand.
We give our students the most durable capital in the labor market - knowledge! About 78 thousand students graduated from CUT - a huge crowd of well-prepared engineering professionals. We focus on ensuring high quality of education giving students the most durable and most valuable asset - knowledge.
The Cracow University of Technology ensures the highest ethical standards and a high scientific level. Many of the nearly 1 200 researchers and tutors are outstanding professionals who participate in intercollegiate and international research teams. Their knowledge and expertise allow our university to maintain a high position in Polish and the international scientific community.
In the framework of bilateral agreements and the Erasmus + program, Cracow University of Technology conducts research cooperation and student exchange with several hundred universities in 47 countries around the world.
Students can develop and deepen their interest by joining 82 CUT scientific associations, whose activities often go beyond the walls of the university. They have the opportunity to develop a passion for sports becoming members of the CUT Academic Sports Association and using the CUT Sports and Recreation Centre. Our social and sports facilities belong to the most modern and sophisticated of all Cracow universities and technical universities in Poland. The university offers its students over 2 thousand places in four dormitories.
The university is a patron of many cultural undertakings in Cracow. It supports the operation of Teatr Zależny (Zależny Theater), the Academic Choir Cantata, and the Orchestra of the Old Town of Cracow that operates under the auspices of CUT. Our university also organizes many exhibitions in its galleries Gil, Kotłownia, and the galleries at its faculties. CUT releases its monthly newspaper, runs Internet radio, has its library and a publishing house.
Cracow University of Technology (CUT) has been training engineering staff for more than seventy years. Graduates of our university are highly valued in the labor market, which is reflected in the fact that among all Polish universities Cracow University of Technology took first place in the ranking of employers in 2008. This is no doubt thanks to the alumni, but also it is proof that the majors offered by our university are attractive and relevant to labor market needs and the education of generations of engineers is of high quality.
The current educational offer of the Cracow University of Technology includes 29 majors of undergraduate and graduate programs, which are conducted at 7 faculties of the university. Such a wide range of choices means a variety of intellectual exploration and the ability to solve challenging tasks under the supervision of well-qualified teaching staff, both within the framework of mandatory classes, as well as in 80 scientific student associations operating at our university. Among more than 1,200 teachers, you can meet many outstanding professionals who participate in intercollegiate research teams, both domestic and international. Their expertise and knowledge allow our university to maintain the appropriate position in Poland and the international scientific community. Thanks to the international contacts of CUT faculty, our students have the possibility of participating in exchange programs abroad based on agreements signed by Cracow University of Technology with universities around the world. Experience gained this way is extremely valuable from the point of view of a young man/woman who starts their career. It should also be noted that 9 of our majors were contracted by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the academic year 2012/2013.
