Bacha khan university, charsadda was established on July 03, 2012, with the mission to advance knowledge and learning through quality research and education for the whole nation. The message of peace and universal brotherhood as practiced and preached by Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan) will be the university's motto to steer the organization in the years ahead, which would induct Pakistan into the comity of respectable nations of the world.
To be a prominent public sector University in the region having an international reputation in research and creative thinking and providing quality education and encouraging research activities of socio-economic development of the area and the country at large, with the motto of "March towards a knowledge-based economy."
To foster creative and critical thinking among the students to promote their intellectual growth and equip them with knowledge, skills, and par excellence to deliver the highest standards of higher education. To promote scientific research to acquire excellence in various fields of study. To establish an effective network and coordination with leading national, regional, and international institutions to share academic and research excellence experiences.
