Operating alongside the academic provision, we operate several sports academies to help Sports Studies students wishing to develop their skills in a particular sport while gaining a nationally recognized vocational qualification at the same time.
Available to all Sports Studies students studying on further education and higher education courses, the academies provide coaching sessions delivered by professional coaches, access to a strength and conditioning coach and physiotherapist, and a focus on the range of skills and knowledge needed for a career in sport – all alongside your chosen academic program.
The courses also use our excellent facilities, including numerous indoor and outdoor pitches, courts, specialist fitness resources, and the state-of-the-art Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation Centre.
From post-16 to postgraduate and professional development, Moulton College provides a wide range of full- and part-time courses to set you on your way to a brighter future.

A critical area of education everywhere is research, as it yields results that can have a lasting impact on almost every aspect of life.
We are no different here at Moulton, and research plays a big part in our higher education offer. All students on our HE programs undertake independent research, which is usually related to their area of interest and overseen by an experienced academic staff member.
We are growing our number of postgraduate research students and staff members with research backgrounds, which leads to direct impacts in a variety of areas within the land-based industries. Examples of current projects being conducted include work in animal welfare, environmental management, and equine studies.
In developing our research work, we are working closely with several universities such as Northampton, Lancaster, De Montfort in Leicester, and Warwick.
