Since starting the dream of university-based research and international competitiveness based on piety, self-reliance, and intellectualization, the University of Mataram realizes that the institutions will start a new chapter. The chapter is full of challenges and should be managed with modern and professional management by upholding academic, religious, moral, social, and cultural ethics. To realize such achievement, efforts to develop academic, academic support infrastructure facilities, and the sincerity and hard work in the work and the work would be crucial that continues to be driven; even it is expected to be a culture to the academicians at the University of Mataram.

If not, then everything done by the University would not be well documented. As a result, we will have difficulty explaining the information about the University to the academic community and the public. The information data collection system has also become one of the tools to bridge the academic community in viewing the University as a representative.

The profile book of the University of Mataram in 2015 is one manifestation of the University of Mataram in providing integrated information for the academic community, especially students. Although the information therein is not fully shelled out into the catalog, there is an attempt to explain more thoroughly about the University of Mataram.

This book contains the institutional administrative requirements surrounding the University of Mataram, ranging from the symbol and meaning hymns, marches and launch photo former Rector, heads vision and mission officials, and senate members. Internal Audit Unit (IAU) Bureau officials Academic, Student Affairs and Planning and the General Affairs and finance.

The vision is to become an internationally competitive research-based higher education institution in 2025. The mission is to implement higher education both in national and international quality standards based on intense research to generate human resources who are faithful and devoted to Almighty God, having noble character, having competencies in their fields, and having a global perspective. To conduct national and international quality research standards to produce science and technology that can increase knowledge and become a reference in community problem solving to support quality learning to students and community services. To conduct community service based on the research results to contribute to solving the problems that arise in the community, encourage economic growth, and build social and cultural Indonesian society. To build a network of extensive cooperation with various government agencies and private parties, inside and outside the country, to support the implementation of Three Pillars of Tertiary Education both in national and international quality standards. To implement asset governance, finance, and the administration that meets governance standards, efficient, effective, transparent, and accountable (good university governance), supporting the implementation of Three pillars of Tertiary Education, both national and international quality standards.

Objective:

  • To generate graduates who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, virtuous, noble character, having qualified academic competence in the field, global perspective, able to compete nationally and internationally in the era of globalization.
  • To generate research products in science and technology that can increase knowledge and be used as a reference for solving various national, regional, and international problems.
  • Disseminating science and technology research in the form of community service to participate and contribute to Indonesia's economic and social development and culture.
  • To establish comprehensive cooperation with various stakeholders, government agencies, and private, at home and abroad, to support the implementation of Three Pillars of Tertiary Education national and international quality standards.
  • To establish a system of governance asset, financial and administrative governance standards University, efficient, effective, transparent and accountable (good university governance) to support the implementation of Three Pillars of Tertiary Education national and international quality standards.
