Kuban State Agrarian University is a higher educational institution with a rich history, progressive present, and reliable future. The traditions established by our teachers and students of several generations are a secure foundation for its development. Since its foundation, the University has prepared more than 130 thousand specialists. More than 17 thousand students are studying in 17 faculties as full-time or correspondence students.

• Ahead organization of Kuban agrarian scientific and an educational amalgamation. It has more than 29 agrarian organizations, 12 scientific-research institutes of the Russian Agricultural Academy, and 12 colleges and technical schools.

• It is a rating leader among agrarian universities and agrarian scientific-research institutes rated by Rospatent. And it is among the top three largest patent holders in Russia.

Our University is one of the recognized leaders in the field of sports in our Krai. Kuban SAU always ranks only first and second in the annual regional Universiades among 32 higher education institutions, giving way only to regional subject-oriented University of physical culture.

Year after year, sports facilities of the University expand and get better and better. Setting into the operation of a Sports Complex with a swimming pool became a notable sporting event in 1982. The Faculty of Social Professions is working at the Kuban State Agrarian University for more than 50 years. It allows students not only to develop their creativity but also to acquire an additional social profession.

The main strategic tasks of the University:

• Increase in the contingent of international students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate university programs
• Increased participation of students, postgraduates, and teachers in programs of international academic mobility
• Increase in the number of students studying abroad within international Master programs at partner universities of European countries and CIS countries in order to obtain a double diploma
• International cooperation of «Scientific Schools» strengthening, joint scientific research work performing, taking part in joint MBA programs
• Increase in the number of university scientists scientific publications in partner universities international editions
• Intensification of university activities in international fundraising.
