UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia is a private university founded in 1996 with a clear mission: to provide students with the knowledge and skills to serve society, to contribute to the further expansion of human knowledge through research and development, and to participate in the Evangelical mission of the Catholic Church in the areas of education and culture.

UCAM students can count on personalized attention that fits their needs. UCAM staff value personal relationships in the learning context. This is why each student is provided with a personal tutor, and class sizes are deliberately kept small. The variety of academic programs on offer continuously adapt to society's real needs and are recognized by the European Higher Education Area, reflecting this core guideline: each student is a reason for UCAM to continue striving for perfection.

The Catholic University of Saint Anthony empowers students to develop their real-world skills. The campus's top-class infrastructure, labs, and studios, allied with practical learning components, will prepare students to put their acquired knowledge into action. Students have to complete an internship in a public or private institution where they will receive a taste of their future field of expertise. UCAM has established more than fifty research groups in close collaboration with enterprises such as Coca Cola, DANONE, Vodafone, and Siemens, providing some students with the opportunity to contribute academically. UCAM values a combination of theoretical and practical learning methods, which dramatically influence students' future success within the global workforce.

As a Catholic institution committed to the Church, UCAM does more than provide top-quality education. The transmission of values is an essential pillar of the University and makes a difference in our students' future. They will not only become great professionals, but they will also develop strong personal ethics and empathy. UCAM's formation is integral, comprehensive, and provides social development opportunities through volunteering activities, congresses, seminars, research projects, and religious services.

With a strong international vocation, UCAM students have the opportunity to develop a global perspective thanks to the joint programs, collaborations, and exchange agreements with more than 150 universities around the world, including UC Berkeley, Stanford, Università di Bologna, National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and PUC - Rio Grande do Sul. UCAM centers in Cuba, Jakarta, Singapore, and Brussels work together to develop its international strategy further.

Welcome to the University of Sports in Spain. Following the Anglo-Saxon model, sports are part of UCAM's DNA, hailed the Champion of University Competitions for the third consecutive year, with 112 medals (74 gold). Among UCAM's top athletes are Olympic medalists such as Mireia Belmonte and David Cal, and World Champions such as Melanie Costa. The twenty-one federated teams sponsored and managed by UCAM include UCAM Murcia CB, a professional basketball team competing in the ACB Liga Endesa. The UCAM Sports Center leads our sports facilities, a high-tech gym accessible to university students and local communities.

UCAM's Campus de Los Jeronimos is located in Murcia - the capital city of the southeastern region of Spain. The Mediterranean weather joins the natural beauties of Costa Cálida with the mountains and fields of the Huerta de Europa. The Spanish cultural heritage, known for flamenco, tapas, and fiesta, is reflected in Murcia's people, welcoming, warm, enthusiastic, and sociable. As a midsize region (1.5 million inhabitants), Murcia is full of cultural and social dynamics with mostly affordable living costs, a safe environment, and modern infrastructure.

Strategically located in Murcia, Spain, with a Campus of more than 16,000 students and around 1,000 professors, we are expanding worldwide to make one of our main objectives a reality: to promote a high-quality university education, with a representative presence in all continents. UCAM has a friendly and international environment in a beautiful Mediterranean framework.

The international vocation of Universidad Católica leads us to collaborate with universities from all corners of the planet, at every educational level: research, students, and professors exchange and create international undergraduate and master's programs in all specialties.

At UCAM, you will experience the university community's dynamism and enthusiasm, top teaching technical equipment, the lovely surroundings of Jerónimos Monastery, or the sports culture with twenty-one elite teams competing at the top level.

The Catholic University of Saint Anthony (UCAM) is characterized by offering students an integral education based on the combination of in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge and a values-based education rooted in the principles of Christian humanism. Renowned professors and a team of personal tutors keep track of their students from the beginning of their studies until the end, always providing tools to improve their student's performance while strengthening their education.

Our goal is to train professionals capable of transforming society, creating equality, and promoting improvements that enable the shaping of a fairer world, respecting man's dignity from conception to natural death.

Since its inception, UCAM has been committed to quality throughout its education and research endeavors, as a result of this developing and implementing interactive methods of teaching and learning:

  • small groups
  • tutorial support sessions
  • teamwork
  • internship programs across all degrees
  • end-of-degree projects
  • new technologies
  • a WIFI network throughout the campus
  • a virtual platform
  • numerous computer stations

Hence, it is not surprising that UCAM has successfully adapted to the European Higher Education Area.

UCAM is accredited by ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain) and the Ministry of Education with regards to 17 of its undergraduate degrees. The University also offers more than thirty official Master Degrees and Doctoral Studies. Currently, the undergraduate degree implementation process is effective. Eight degrees are in the process with favorable results. This results from our highly qualified professors' work, effort, and responsibility specialized in both academic and research tasks. This is attested by the high number of Doctors and the wide range of research lines. Another one of UCAM's distinguishing features is its focus on internationalization - a key aspect in our globalized world. UCAM has cooperation agreements with prestigious universities worldwide, such as Berkeley, Chicago, Bologna, etc.

The Catholic University San Antonio puts significant effort into increasing the employability of recent graduates. Currently, the percentage of students finding a job after graduation lies at 86% in total.
