Time has matured the institution to observe recent years' achievements, consider envisaged concepts with the fulfilments both retrospectively and prospectively. After fifty flourishing years, the institution is ready to enter another prosperous era. Our mission is to coordinate the demands of an evolving environment and the continually developing abilities of the college to provide stability. We aim to gain recognition nationally and internationally, just as Károly Róbert (Charles I of Anjou) - whom our institution is named after - enforced his authority in a reformed Hungary. Knowledge, innovation, and experience are our strengths, and our main task is to transfer and continually develop these skills.
We are committed to sustain and reconsider the results of the last fifty years by considering new challenges. Károly Róbert Campus of the Eszterházy Károly University as a prominent knowledge center of the Northern Hungarian EU region is the only agrarian and research (counseling) higher education institution to serve the achievement of competitive knowledge with a successively broadening training offer. Owing to our practice-orientated training programs, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and high-quality services, we can provide students with the best grounds for their prospects.
We endeavor to perform our duties to our best knowledge and respectfully meet the requirements laid down in the next fifty years ahead of us. The teaching staff at Eszterházy Károly University Gyöngyös Campus are widely linked to the declared research and tender topics, in which the students are actively involved, too. In current research within the institute that affects different disciplines, outstanding collaborations are born, which the formulated indicators indicate results.
The aim of the project is the development of the infrastructure related to the education, research, innovation, and cooperation of the business sector at Károly Róbert College, a predecessor institution of Eszterházy Károly University. The main activities carried out are the following: The formation of Student Information Center: Student Service Center computer rooms for self-dependent practice Informatics Center, developing Foreign Language Infrastructure: Foreign Language training labs Foreign language teaching practicing cabinet Multimedia lab Mobile Translation equipment. Research and Development lab developments: Research and Development Innovation Cooperation Center: infrastructure for creating spin-off and start-up companies. IT development. Development of infrastructure related to research, education, and management.
