Budapest Metropolitan University applies a quality-oriented management system. Metropolitan's guiding principles and the essential system elements considered indispensable for the effective operation of a quality management system are summarized in the Quality Management Handbook (Appendix 8 of the Organisational and Operational Statutes).

Quality management processes are under continuous monitoring and control co-ordinated by the Accreditation and Quality Management Office. Since the constant improvement of the quality of education and the permanent tracking of our educational activities' quality standards are one of our priorities, Metropolitan regularly conducts surveys among students, lecturers, and colleagues. In addition to the management members, each respondent and participant of the surveys receive a report on the questionnaires' findings. Due to our feedback processes, the quality management system's improvement has become both a common interest and a joint activity pursued by all of our colleagues and partners.

The Senate is a decision-making and supervisory body with duties and scope of competence specified in the Deed of Foundation and the Organizational and Operational Statutes. The Senate is responsible for defining our Universityuniversity's activities, especially its training and research tasks, and its operations, and supervises their implementation.

Budapest Metropolitan University, Budapest, has become part and parcel of the Hungarian higher education scene in the past 11 years. With a continually growing number of students, education venues and campuses, and a diverse range of programs, today Metropolitan is the most prominent private University in Hungary present in two cities, Budapest and Hódmezővásárhely, with a massive student community of 8,000 enthusiastic young people. Metropolitan offers a complex educational program at two vocational grammar schools, various higher-level vocational training, master degree programs, and post-graduate specialist training programs built on the bachelor programs in communication, business, tourism, and arts.
