The College's Mission is to provide Christ-centered schooling in an atmosphere of love, respect, peace, and discipline – which will encourage students to achieve their full potential for God. Livingstone Christian College commenced in 2002. 62 Reedman's Road, Ormeau had been a campus of St Stephen's College, Coomera in 2001 – but that school closed after one operation year. Livingstone is a non-denominational, not-for-profit entity governed by a Board of Directors. It is part of a fellowship of schools administered by Christian Community Ministries Limited, which includes Groves Christian College (Kingston), Staines Memorial College (Redbank Plains), Dalby Christian College, Warwick Christian College, Whitsunday Christian College (Airlie Beach), and Endeavour Christian College (Cooktown) as well as schools in South Australia and New South Wales. Livingstone is a member of Independent Schools Queensland (IQS).
Livingstone Christian College aspires to be a place where every child flourishes. We emphasize four key areas, including academic achievement, sporting development through essential focus sports, performing arts, and community (including trade training, preparing students for the Asia Century, and being a responsible local citizen). Within these four broad areas, we believe that every child can experience success and grow in confidence.
Livingstone has a unique and robust emphasis on the development of the whole child, which is exemplified as we understand and live out the values of Jesus as an integral part of every child's educational journey. Located at Ormeau on Queensland's Gold Coast, our strong Christian values and dedicated staff provide a wholesome education experience for over 1100 students from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12.
