Pembrokeshire College is the county’s largest provider of a wide range of post-16 education and training. Situated in a modern, purpose-built campus in Haverfordwest, we offer young people and adults excellent training opportunities.
Our courses will help you achieve your goals from A-levels and apprenticeships to degrees and part-time evening classes.
With approximately 2,000 full-time and 12,500 part-time students, College tutors provide a disciplined and supportive framework that focuses on student success. For school leavers, the College provides a lively, stimulating environment that acts as a stepping stone towards university and the world of work.
The College is proud of its excellent array of facilities and equipment, notably the Study Centre, computing and IT suites, Construction Centre, Engineering Wing, design workshops and, most recently, our £6.6m Advanced Learning Centre, CAMPUS 6.
CAMPUS 6 is the latest addition to the College. Opening in September 2017, CAMPUS 6 will feature science laboratories, modern classrooms, a large self-study area, a 590m2 sports hall, a cardio fitness suite, ultra-modern salons, and a coffee shop. The new building will feature the latest technology and innovative teaching methods giving students a first-class learning experience.
The innovation center is a state-of-the-art facility for design, engineering, media, photography, construction, and music. Specialist resources combined with highly skilled staff provide a wide range of further and higher education in subjects that will be crucial for developing a competitive high-skill economy.
Equine Centre based at Bowlings Riding Stables in Rudbaxton, five miles from the College, the Centre offers practical riding and stable management tuition. The facility has an excellent reputation, and facilities include a 20x40m indoor school and an outside course with over 30 fences.
The College has a friendly and experienced Learner Support team who can be accessed by current and prospective students. Students can get information on finance, support services, counseling, careers advice and guidance, bus timetables, Learner Voice, and UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) through the Learner Contact Centre.
