At WPU, we work tirelessly to provide a wide variety of resources to foster growth and success for each of our students.
The WPU Disability Services Office assists students with physical, cognitive, learning, and psychological disabilities. Students have the right to privacy and have the responsibility to disclose their disability to the Director of Counseling and Disability Services. Students should contact the office to become certified and make an appointment with the Director at the beginning of each semester to ensure reasonable accommodations and equal access to the living and learning environments at WPU.
Through 160 years, William Peace University has evolved to meet the changing needs of the students we serve. William Peace University was founded in 1857 as Peace Institute, offering education for boys and girls in primary grades and to women from high school to college. Once a two-year college for women, WPU has evolved into a four-year, coeducational university offering bachelor's degrees in more than 24 majors, minors, and concentrations.
