Founded in 1849, Waynesburg University was one of the earliest schools in America to develop programs independently. Since its inception, the University has maintained a commitment to service to witness to the love of God in the world. Early graduates became missionaries, ministers, educators, soldiers, politicians, political leaders, judges, and business people who carried that unique mission throughout their lives.
