Peer coaches help incoming students make the transition and then push them to become involved. Coaches are empowering, positive, academically savvy, mature, responsible, engaged within the university, open, and honest.
St. Bonaventure University's Learning Center is an intrinsic element of the university's academic excellence goal. We are a group that provides and promotes both creative and dynamic instruction and utilizes and teaches dedicated, critical and active learning. Students, faculty, and staff may use the center's myriad programs and staff talents to explore means to enhance their academic growth.
We encourage academic accountability: we want our patrons to accept responsibility for their academic excellence — we provide background and assistance. Students may consult one-on-one or in-group with members of the center's staff to acquire more excellent command of a subject, procure assistance with a specific assignment, or discuss academic challenges.
