Piedmont International University is located in lovely Winston - Salem, North Carolina, in the state's center. We are conveniently located just one hour from the mountains and only four hours from the beautiful NC and SC beaches. Piedmont sits on approximately 10 acres just three blocks south from the downtown area and the impressive BB&T stadium, home of the Winston DASH baseball team. Old Salem, the oldest Moravian settlement in the US, only blocks away and other college campuses. Because of our location, there are always things to do.
Piedmont is unique because residential classes are only held four days a week, Tuesday - Friday, allowing an extra day every weekend for ministry, studies, or family time. A Piedmont student can quickly and fluidly move from residential to online without the hassle of withdrawing, reapplying, and paying extra fees. This is also very impressive because it allows residential students to log in on the internet for their class and be counted present. Imagine waking up and not feeling your best ... NO PROBLEM! The Academic Assistance Program is designed to meet the needs of first-year, degree-seeking students whose ACT scores and high school grades do not meet general admission criteria. This program consists of a prescribed set of courses selected to develop the skills needed to succeed in university. The hours are limited, and the student's progress will be monitored. Student Success Services provides students with assistance in many areas. Those students with documented disabilities can be given accommodations based on their disability, for example, extra time on tests for students with learning disabilities, closed caption videos for deaf students, large print texts for visually impaired students, etc. Other students who need help with necessary study skills, organizational strategies, reading, writing, and mathematics can meet one-on-one with tutors throughout the semester. All PIU students can participate in the tutor-led study sessions for quizzes and exams. Our tutors are also qualified to teach research skills and give guidance with academic essays and research papers. We are here to serve the student body of PIU to be successful in all of their classes. The Student Success Center can be found on the 3rd floor of Deeds - D312. Student Services is the department that handles all of the student's needs outside of academics. The Student Services Offices are located on the second floor of Deeds Hall. The department is comprised of the Director, the Dean of Women, the Dean of Men, and the Resident Assistants. Two services that Student Services provides are the ROAR newsletter and the announcement board.

Located in the collegiate district of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the campus is just blocks from town and about one hour from the mountains and a few hours from the coast. For over 70 years, PIU has been educating students with conservative theology with a relevant approach.
Piedmont offers flexibility with course options on campus, online, and in your church, and degrees from high school dual enrollment to Ph.D. Our residential classes operate on a four-day schedule (Tuesday through Friday), offering flexibility with work and ministry opportunities. Housing is available on campus in our spacious residence halls. We offer apartment-style housing for our married students.
Piedmont's award-winning online program through the Spurgeon School of Online Education allows our students' educational experience flexibility and mobility. The online option allows students to explore ministry opportunities, internships, and flexible schedules beyond traditional options. Classes are offered three semesters per year, with two sessions offered per semester.
