At present, the University of August 17, 1945, Samarinda has five Faculties with seven Study Programs accredited by BAN-PT. Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia and two Study Programs which already have Operating Permits from the Directorate General of Higher Education which consists of faculty of Law Legal Studies Program, Faculty of Social Science and Political Science, State Administration Science Program, Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Study Program, Architectural Studies Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Agrotechnology Study Program, Forestry Study Program.
