At present, the Private Educational Establishment "BIP—Institute of Law" is one of the prestigious Institutions of Higher Education of the Republic.

The Institute's primary goal is to train highly-qualified specialists in Law, Economics, Political Science, and Psychology. The Institute's graduates proved to be the best in different social life fields, which is evidence of the Institute's proper educational strategy.

The qualified and experienced teaching staff, many of whom are Candidates and Doctors of Science, constitute the core of "BIP—Institute of Law."

The Institute conducts active research and development work aimed at improving the quality of the educational process. Teaching staff carries out scientific and research work on improving the national legal system, international legal mechanisms to ensure the integration of Belarus into the world economic system, modern IT technologies in education, and others.

An essential result of the research activities of the Institute is the publication of educational and scientific literature (textbooks, monographs, articles, and abstracts), scientific conferences, including international, on topical issues in Law, Economics and Humanities. Textbooks and monographs of our teachers are highly demanded in the book market, not only in Belarus but also in the neighboring CIS and EurAsEC.

The Institute publishes the scientific journal «Socio-economic and legal research,» which is included in the list of Higher Attestation Commission. It can print not only the Institute's employees but also scientists of other higher education institutions of the country and abroad.

BIP holds international cooperation with several leading higher educational establishments of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the Republic of Poland, Lithuania, and other countries. We actively implement an agreement with the Polish Institute in Minsk on cooperation and information exchange. Fruitful cooperation has developed with educational consortium FUTURES (Poland), in which our graduates have the opportunity to obtain two diplomas.

The primary forms of International cooperation are:

    • Preparation and holding international R&D conferences at the Belarusian Institute of Law.
    • Participation in international R&D conferences and workshops.
    • Supervision of undergraduates and postgraduates for participation in international R&D conferences and contests.
    • Internship of the teaching staff and undergraduates abroad.
    • Advising on programs of the International R&D funds and R&D activities.

The graduate students have a diploma of higher education in the relevant specialty and the university/institute's recommendation for training at the second stage of higher education (magistracy) (for graduates of the current year).

Foreign citizens are enrolled in graduate study for training on a paid basis without passing an entrance exam. Foreign citizens and stateless persons who temporarily stay or temporarily reside in the Republic of Belarus can enter institutions of higher education for the higher education of the second stage by the results of the interview, which establishes the level of their mastery of the language of instruction in amounts sufficient to absorb the content of the higher education program of the II stage.
