  1. On July 17, 1984, Warmadewa University was officially founded and. The stewardship of the foundation was set in the Korpri Bali Meeting on July 30, 1984. After completeness of the Foundation Bodies was formed, it was later reported to Kopertis Region VIII that Korpri University was established under the name of Warmadewa University. The Governor of Bali gave the name of Warmadewa University. At that time, he was Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra, as a form of appreciation of the Balinese King before the Majapahit of the Warmadewa Dynasty. On August 15, 1984, Prof.. dr. I Gusti Agung Gde Puthra was designated as First Rector of Warmadewa University. The inaugural lecture was conducted on Ubud's campus on September 17, 1984, which is now commemorated as the birthday of Warmadewa University. By SK Welfare Foundation Korpri Province Bali No. 05 / Yas.Korp / VII / 84, Warmadewa University consists of 6 (six) faculties and 1 (one) non-degree education. In the next development, Coordinator Kopertis Region VIII approved to open faculty units/department/study program within the University of Warmadewa and give operational permission to 18 Study Programs taken care of by letter No. 187 / Kop.VIII / B / 02/1985 dated November 10, 1985. Vision is to be a center of science and technology education and development (IPTEK) of quality, integrity, environmentally friendly tourism, and globally competitive 2034. The mission is to conduct professional education capable of producing qualified graduates in a conducive academic atmosphere, a good quality assurance system and relevant to the community's needs ( social needs ), and oriented towards increasing relevance, academic atmosphere, internal management, sustainability, equity, and efficiency. Carry out leading research on environment-based tourism that can contribute to the development of knowledge and community needs. Conducting community-based devotion to research and meeting the needs of the community. Developing modern governance based on information and communication technology (ICT). We aim to produce qualified graduates, integrity, ethical ethics, and environmentally friendly tourism. Increase the quantity and quality of research. Increase the quantity and quality of community service. Develop cooperation with the government and private agencies at home and abroad to improve Tridharma Higher Education quality. Improving the Tridharma Service of Higher Education based on information and communication technology (ICT). Improving the welfare of academicians and employees. Improving institutional accessibility to the community. Our Future goal is Implementation of education based on a competency-based curriculum that refers to KKNI. The realization of increasing the quantity and quality of resources (human resources, facilities, infrastructure, and funds). Achieving an increase in the quantity and quality of research. Increasing quantity and quality of community service. Establishment of cooperation with government agencies and private institutions (both from within and outside the country) in order to improve the quality of Tridharma Higher Education. The Implementation of sound quality governance system with the improvement of the quality assurance system in institutional management. The realization of excellent service based on information and communication technology (ICT). Improvement of welfare level of academicians and employees. Increased accessibility of the Institution to the community.
